"Is there a moderate Islam" Do we have an obligation to encourage moderate Muslims in the hope that they take over? There are moderate Muslims but Islam kills. Dr. David Bukay (one of the best speakers) teaches in the Political Science Dept at the University of Haifa.Among his fields of expertise are the Arab- Israel conflict, inter Arab relations and the Palestinian questions. He spoke of Dawah as the real secret enemy.. Dawah is the cultural enemy.
To deceive, cheat, mislead us by misinformation.
Ibn Sa’d said it is permissible to deceive the enemy.
Allah deceives infidels and so it’s allowed or commander for believers to do so
(Koran 4:142, 8:30, 85:15-16).
Bukhari: When one makes up false statements, though untrue, to spread Islam, one
does not lie.
Ibn Said said it is permissable to deceive the enemey
They can swear allegiance to the United States of America or the Knesset but
maintain their primary allegiance to Islam.
Bukhari: Muslims are not bound by oaths to infidels.
Today they use this as a diplomatic strategy. Here are their biggest lies
- Islam is a religion of peace
- Jihad is a spirited struggle
- Islam and Democracy are compatible
- Terrorists are a minority that hijacked islam
- Moderate voices are all silent. They don’t act against savage inhuman
behavior. - Povery leads to terrorism
- Poverty leads to terrorism> Moslem terrorists are highly educated and rich.
- Durban2: The catastrophe that Arabs and Muslims prepare for the rest of the world, "Islamophobia"

Eldad, Sharan and Spencer. Shlomo Sharan took the stage to discuss the failure
of education..Sharan is Professor Emeritus in Educational and Organizational Pyschology at
TelAviv Univ’s school of education. He has authored many books, research
studies, and articles.
Wilders and Eldad
Pipes prefaced his remarks with a careful disclaimer – a sort of cover your ass preface. He wouldn’t want to part with the whole Moderate thing. It’s his one steadfast premise, despite whatever facts (or bodies) to the
contrary
He has three interpretations of who is the enemy,
- terrorism
- Islam
- radical Islam
Pipes: We agree on an enemy, we disagree on the solution. n1948-1993 Israel pursued victory

Pipes spoke of crushing the will of the Palestinians.
When the Jews of Hebron need no more security than the Arabs of Nazareth.
Palestinians can’t thrive –They can’t do that so long as they are focused on the destruction of Israel

Francis, you should know that the subject you mention was NOT explicitely covered at the conference. Geert Wilders came closest to calling for an outright ban on Islam and he received tremendous applause from the crowd. The only speaker to specifically state apologetically that he believes the problem is "Islamo-fascism" versus Islam itself was Daniel Pipes. But anyone who reads Pipe’s writing should have known this already. All the other speakers did not appear to agree with Pipes, although Professor Lewis mistakenly sounded somewhat like Pipes. However, I spoke to Lewis for about 20 minutes after the conference and he clarified his staunch view against Islam. I think he will clarify his opinion in future speeches.
Atlas highlight: When Wilders was fielding questions from the press, one reporter asked why women were not involved. Geert responded (paraphrasing)
